Description
Description
Three Layers of Filtration
The straw combines a pre-filter, a 0.01 μm ultrafiltration membrane and activated carbon fiber. The sand head filters sediment and visible particles. Activated carbon fiber filters chlorine, odor and color, and improves water taste.
Freshwater Field Use
Use the straw with freshwater from rivers, streams, lakes, springs, groundwater, rain, snow or taps. It is not intended for seawater or chemically polluted water. Its handheld format is designed for personal water filtration outdoors.
Clip-On Trail Carry
A built-in buckle clips the straw to a backpack or belt. The detachable lanyard provides another way to secure it while travelling. At 19 cm long, the straw is compact to pack with outdoor gear.
Flexible Connection Options
The silicone converter connects the straw to compatible bottles, faucets and squeeze water bags. It fits bottle mouths measuring 28–30 mm. Standard pagoda-mouth faucets with a 13–20 mm mouth range are also compatible.
Forward Flush Or Backwash
Clean the filter with forward flushing or backwashing. Both methods use external water pressure. Rinsing the filter when it is not in use is recommended to help extend its life.
Long Filter Life
The filter life is approximately 4000 L. Actual use depends on filtration flow and the water being filtered. Rinsing the filter after use can help extend its service life.
Included Water Pouch
The included 480 mL water pouch offers a compact container to use with the straw. A converter, sand head, lanyard and manual are also included. The sand head helps filter sediment and particles from water.
Filters Without Electricity
The straw operates without electricity. Use it as a handheld filter with compatible freshwater sources. Its portable design suits camping, hiking and emergency supplies.
